This hole is as challenging as it is scenic—and it’s extremely challenging. Par or better on this hole requires three strategic shots. Avoid the deep, rough-filled slopes on the left by driving your tee shot far down the right side of the fairway toward the lone box elder tree. Using a fairway wood or a long iron, place a long set-up shot down the right side of the fairway just to the left of the three bunkers. From there, it’s a short iron to a big, round, two-level green set hard by Lake Windward. Check the wind direction before striking your approach shot.
