This is a big, proud finishing hole, and here you can safely end the round with a booming drive from the wooded chute. With a long or mid iron, place your second shot just in front of the greenside pond, then a well-struck wedge or short iron is recommended in order to hold this small but extremely hilly green. As always, and especially here, attempt to place your approach shot as close the flagstick as possible. More often than not, weak shots that bounce around in the pondside rough roll with great authority—to the chagrin of the shot’s maker—into the watery depths.
