Elite Events at The Golf Club of Georgia
The Golf Club of Georgia has hosted many significant and elite golf events over the Club's history. This includes numerous national, regional, and state sanctioned events including the PGA Champions Tour, U.S. Open Sectional Qualifying, the Georgia Amateur Championship and NCAA Regional Championships.
Presently, The Golf Club of Georgia hosts two major annual events: the Georgia Cup and the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate Invitational, hosted by Georgia Tech.
Notable golfers that have walked the fairways in competition at The Golf Club of Georgia include: Hale Irwin, Stewart Cink, Matt Kuchar, David Duval, Rickie Fowler, Sergio Garcia, Ryan Moore, Ollie Schniederjans and many others. While The Golf Club of Georgia is private, we do encourage non-members to attend and support The Georgia Cup in the spring and The Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate Invitational in the fall.
